El Salvador/Philippine House

Inspired by the vernacular housing of El Salvador and the Philippines, this expandable home redefines affordable living. Designed for low-income households, the house prioritizes flexibility, functionality, and dignity.

Using locally sourced materials such as nipa and wood, the design promotes sustainability while strengthening community-based construction practices. The expandable layout allows the home to grow from 2 to 4 bedrooms, adapting to the evolving needs of a family over time.

This home is not just a shelter—it is a framework for growth, resilience, and long-term stability.
